Sustainable Cocoa
Our signature Cocoa Life programme sources cocoa more sustainably. Cocoa farming three particular challenges, that we are committed to addressing:

1. Strenghtening the resilience of landscapes where ingredients are grown

2. Helping improve prosperity of the communities that grow our raw materials

3. Reducing the carbon emissions and environmental impact coming from agriculture
Cocoa Life is driving positive change for farmers, with a total of $1billion investment committed by 2030. In 2023 alone, we trained 225,000 cocoa farmers in good agriculture practices through the programme, ultimately helping to:

Grow more profitable cocoa businesses

Lift cocoa communities

Protect and restore forests
100% of the cocoa volume for our chocolate brands will be sourced through Cocoa Life by the end of 2025

Sustainable Ingredients
Beyond cocoa, we're committed to sourcing other ingredients such as our palm oil and wheat more sustainably, whilst scaling regenerative agriculture.
100% of the palm oil we use is certified by Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
We will grow 100% of the wheat volume needed for our biscuits in Europe under our new harmony regenerative chapter by 2030
